Self-Care Must-Haves I Actually Use
Let’s stop romanticizing self-care and actually do it.
For me, self-care isn’t bubble baths and face masks (well not only). It’s about creating a space where your nervous system can breathe, your skin can heal, and your soul feels held.
These are the things I use weekly that bring me back to center. No fluff, no aesthetic only energy. Just real tools for real healing.

I’ve tested the trendy stuff. These are the ones that stuck.
1. Dry Brush
A simple but powerful tool to boost circulation, exfoliate dead skin, and wake your whole body up in the morning. Use before you shower.
2. Weighted Eye Mask
If anxiety tries to play with you at night, this will humble it. The gentle pressure helps me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.
3. Aromatherapy Diffuser + Oils
Lavender, eucalyptus, and peppermint on rotation. This combo turns your space into a sanctuary. Bonus: add a few drops in the shower for a spa vibe.
4. Epsom Salt Soak
Not just for soreness this helps clear emotional heaviness, too. I use it after tough days, workouts, or anytime I need to reset.
5. Skin Repairing Face Oil
I use cold-pressed castor oil. It’s deeply hydrating, helps with dark spots and inflammation, and gives me that nourished, dewy glow. It’s affordable, rich, and a total underdog in skincare.
6. Herbal Tea Sampler
Chamomile, hibiscus, dandelion, and lemon balm are my top picks. Perfect for winding down without sugar or caffeine.
7. Journal + Gel Pens
My journal is non-negotiable. Whether it’s releasing emotions or writing affirmations, having beautiful pens makes it even more sacred.
8. Gua Sha Tool
More than just a trend it actually relieves tension in your face, supports lymphatic drainage, and pairs beautifully with your oil.
9. African Exfoliating Net Towel
This back and body scrubber is that girl. It exfoliates better than any loofah I’ve ever tried, gets your back with ease, and lasts forever. Leaves my skin baby soft every single time.
These aren’t just products they’re rituals. Each one has a role in my reset routine, and I hope they support you the way they’ve supported me.
