Healing and the Truth About Growth
Let’s be real.
We’ve all heard it: “Just meditate.”
“Buy some crystals.”
“Raise your frequency.”
“Manifest better.”
Sounds cute. But that’s not healing.
That’s spiritual window dressing.
Yes those things have their place. But if you’re not facing your pain, your programming, and your patterns? You’re not healing you’re bypassing.
Teaching: The Myth of Pretty Healing Healing is ugly crying at 2AM.
It’s sitting with your anger instead of spiritualizing it.
It’s peeling back the layers of false identity you built to survive.
And the truth?
It hurts.
But it frees you.
One of my favorite spiritual guides, Rachel Fiori, says:
“Get out of your head and drop into your heart. Thinking ruins everything.”
And she’s right.
You can’t intellectualize your way out of pain.
You have to feel it, love it, and let it go.
Healing isn’t a mood it’s a choice. Just like the choice to suffer.
And you’ll be asked to make it again and again.
My Reflection: The Aries Aftermath
Let me tell you about the moment I spiraled and what it showed me.
It wasn’t just about him ghosting. It was about what it triggered inside me. The grief wasn’t even about him. It was about old patterns, old pain, and a version of me that was dying off.
That breakdown became a breakthrough.
I finally saw the layers I still needed to feel, and not fix.
I didn’t abandon myself this time.
And that was growth. Not because things got better, but because I chose to stay with myself through the storm.
Journal Prompts:
- What emotional pain have I been avoiding?
- Where in my life am I using “spiritual practices” to avoid real inner work?
Healing is messy.
It’s sacred.
And it’s yours.
You don’t need to look good while growing you just need to keep choosing you.

Because real growth isn’t clean.
It’s courageous.
